New Delhi: There has been no significant reduction in the ongoing tension between India and China over the border dispute. In such a situation, Indian agencies are closely monitoring the activities of the Chinese Air Force on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) with regard to the seven ongoing tension of China. Indian forces are ready to respond to any emergency. According to news agency ANI, government sources said, “We are keeping a close watch on the Hotan, Gar Gunsa, Kashghar, Hopping, Dkonka Dzong, Linzhi and Pangat airbases of the PLAAF in the Xinjiang and Tibet region and all of them have been highly active in the recent times,”.

According to sources, in recent times, the Chinese Air Force has worked on upgrading these bases. Strong shelters have been built here, the length of the runway has been increased and additional force has also been deployed to carry out more operations. According to government sources, the Linzhi airbase in front of the north-eastern states is mainly a helicopter base. However, China has developed a network of helipads from here to enhance its surveillance activities on Indian states.

The Chinese Air Force is deploying its fighters near the Ladakh sector. It also includes the Chinese version of the Sukhoi-30MKIs and J-series fighter aircraft. However, Indian agencies are keeping a close and constant watch on them through satellite and other means. In response to increasing military activities from China, India has also started strengthening its position in these places. India has deployed its Sukhoi-30MKIs, MiG-29s and Mirage-2000s fighters at its forward airbase to deal with any situation.
