Myanmar: Pakistan’s Pakistan intelligence agency ISI is also training terrorist groups in Myanmar. His motive is trying to confuse India in the other direction by promoting cross-border terrorism. Dr Siegfried O. Wolf, Research Director of the South Asia Democratic Forum in Brussels, believes the ISI’s involvement in terrorist training of 40 Rohingyas by Jamaat ul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). He wants to create regional instability by promoting terrorism and attacking countries like Afghanistan and India.

JMB’s Terrorist Connection
In 2016, JMB attacked a coffee shop in Dhaka and killed 22 people. Most of them were foreigners. Due to the antics of this terrorist organization, Rohingya refugee camps in Bangladesh’s Cox’s Bazar, bordering Myanmar, have come under the target of terrorist groups.

Opinion of Bangladesh
Bangladesh security expert Abdul Rashid says that extremist Rohingyas had made some efforts in the past. But, Bangladesh stopped them from carrying out terrorist activities. He said that Pakistan can try to destabilize India by helping terrorist groups. Rashid also said that Bangladesh has been helping India in such cases so that the conspiracy in North-East India can be stopped. He said that Pakistan is trying to help the terrorist groups to destabilize India.

According to Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Shahriar Alam, there were many attempts to spread extremism, but they did not get any major success. According to Myanmar military officials, the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA), a Rohingya rebel group operating in the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, has increased its activities. Its members are active in refugee camps, Pakistan is continuously helping them.

ARSA’s Modus operandi
People of the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army remain active in the refugee camp at night and disappear by day, its leader Ata Ullah was born in Pakistan but also has a Saudi connection. Its entire team specializes in military strategy, they also have sophisticated weapons. This organization, active on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border, has received training from the Pakistani terrorist organization Tehreek-e-Taliban (Pakistan).

According to foreign diplomats watching the Cox’s market, videos related to the activities of ARSA and JMB are viral on social media. In which ARSA people are seen with the old model AK-47s, M-21s, M-22s and M-16 rifles.
