New Delhi: The whole world is fighting the Coronavirus, but former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi is chanting the Kashmir issue. A video of Afridi is going viral on social media in which he is saying good and bad to Prime Minister Narendra Modi about Kashmir. He has alleged that PM Modi is persecuting the Kashmiris and they will have to answer this. Afridi has also accused PM Modi of doing politics regarding religion.
BJP MP Gautam Gambhir has given a befitting reply to Afridi on this viral statement. Even before, reports of a confrontation between former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi and Team India batsman Gautam Gambhir are always coming.
Gautam Gambhir gave a befitting reply to Afridi, saying, ’16-year-old man Shahid Afridi says that 200 million people are standing behind 7 lakh army of Pakistan, yet have been begging for Kashmir for 70 years.’
Gambhir tweeted, “Jokers like Afridi, Imran Khan and Bajwa can spew venom against India and PM Modi to fool the people of Pakistan, but Kashmir will not be found till Judgment Day”. Gambhir responded to Afridi and said, “Remember Bangladesh?”
Even before this, Shahid Afridi gave his support to the Kashmir Hour program launched to support the Kashmiris. Along with him, many Pakistani cricketers have been giving anti-India statements about Kashmir from time to time.
Former fast-paced Shoaib Akhtar had said that Kashmiris should be given proper rights as per the UN resolution. Former captain Javed Miandad had said that we have a nuclear bomb, we will clear it. Former captain Sarfaraz Ahmed also said that he had equal shares in the misery of Kashmiris.
