Mumbai: The matter has become active again as soon as the first death anniversary of Bollywood’s late actor Sushant Singh Rajput is approaching. Recently, his friend Siddharth Pithani, who was Sushant’s flatmate, was arrested by NCB. At the same time, Sushant’s servants Neeraj and Keshav were questioned. The actor’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty is the main accused in the drugs case and her statement given to NCB is also included in the charge sheet. The court has taken cognizance of this charge sheet in complaint case no. 16/2020.

NCB has Rhea Chakraborty’s confession, which contains many sensational revelations. He even said that Sushant used to take drugs with his sister and brother-in-law. Rhea Chakraborty’s statement read, ‘I would like to state that the things mentioned above are Dr Nikita’s prescription. (As written in the copy of the message and prescription) It appears that Showik Chakraborty and I are talking about the side effects of Clonazepam based on Google. After talking to the doctor, she suggested continuing those medicines as per the prescription.’

Rhea Chakraborty wrote, ‘I request that it be noted that these drugs could have killed her at that time as her sister Meetu was living with her from 8 to 12 June. I have also informed the Mumbai Police and they have also taken cognizance of this. Sushant was above the age of 18. He used to consume Marijuana without my consent. He was consuming it even before meeting me. He used to come to me trying to get Marijuana or else he would offer it to me.’

Rhea Chakraborty also wrote, ‘I tried to admit Sushant in the hospital, for which I have proof. But he did not have consent so he could not be admitted to the hospital. Sushant’s family knew very well that he was addicted to Marijuana. Sushant’s sister Priyanka and brother-in-law Siddharth used to consume Marijuana with him and also brought it for him. I am making this statement without any fear or threat.’
