New Delhi: The film ‘Shashank’ is not based on the life of the late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. The director gave this information to the Delhi High Court. The director has argued in favour of his point that the story of his movie is based on the struggle of ‘outsiders’ in the film industry.
The filmmaker claimed that the name of the film ‘Shashank’ and Sushant Singh Rajput differ greatly and the story of the film is based on 4 people who struggle in Mumbai’s film industry and fight nepotism, so both There is no comparison.
Director Sanoj Mishra has given this affidavit in response to a petition filed by Rajput’s father Krishna Kishore Singh. Singh had requested the court that no one should be prevented from using his son or a similar name in the film.
The petition also mentions projects coming up or proposed on Rajput’s life, including ‘Justice: The Justice’, ‘Suicide or Murder: A Star was Lost’, ‘Shashank’ and an anonymous film. On April 20, the High Court had set May 24 as the next date of hearing in the case, seeking their reply on a petition from the producers of these proposed and upcoming films.
