New Delhi: Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt recently returned to work after winning the battle of life with cancer. His family lives in Dubai most of the time. It has been reported that Sanjay Dutt has been given the UAE Golden Visa. Sanjay has become the first Bollywood actor to get this visa.

While sharing this information with fans, Sanjay Dutt has shared his pictures. With whom he wrote, ‘I am honoured to receive a Golden Visa for UAE in the presence of @GDRFADUBAI Director General Major General Mohammad Ahmed Al Marri.’ He also thanked Hamad Obaidalla of Fly Dubai for his support.
Let us tell you that Sanjay Dutt is the first Indian mainstream actor to get a UAE Golden Visa. The UAE government implemented a new system for long-term residence visas in 2019, enabling foreigners to live, work and study in the UAE without the need for a national sponsor. These golden visas are issued for 5 or 10 years and are renewed automatically.

Below is the list of professionals who can apply for a 10-year Golden Visa:
PhD degree holders: Under the law, professionals holding PhD degrees will be given a Golden Visa. The person should have a PhD degree from one of the top 500 universities in the world.
Doctor: Sheikh Mohammed said that doctors are allowed to get a 10-year visa. This will help the country to better deal with the epidemic and meet the shortage of medical professionals in the country. Doctors specializing in viral epidemiology will be awarded the Golden Visa.
Engineers: To attract talent in this particular field, all engineers in the fields of Computer, Electronics, Programming, Electricals, Electronics, AI and Big Data can obtain Golden Visa.
Highly Qualified Individuals: The United Arab Emirates also provides a 10-year visa to highly qualified individuals who have obtained 3.8 or more marks from approved universities.
Researcher/Scientist: This includes researchers and scientists who are experts in their respective fields. Scientists must be recognized by the holders of the Emirates Scientific Council or the Mohammed bin Rashid Medal for Scientific Excellence.
Inventors: The UAE also offers gold visas to inventors but they must obtain a patent of value, which adds to the UAE economy. The patent must be approved by the Ministry of Economy.
Artist: Creative persons in the field of culture and art will be awarded the Golden Visa. Creative persons in culture and arts should be recognized by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development.
Investors: Foreign investors investing 10 million or more can also apply for Golden Visa. This investment can be in the form of a deposit in an investment fund, the establishment of a company or an investment in real estate or any other strategic area. Many Indian, Pakistani and Arab investors have been granted Golden Visas under this scheme.

- Entrepreneurs: This category includes people who have existing projects with a capital of at least Dh500,000, or who have the approval of a recognized business incubator in the country. The entrepreneur is allowed a multi-entry visa for six months, which can be renewed for the next six months. Long-term visas include a spouse and children, a partner and three officers.
- Outstanding Students: This includes students with a minimum of 95 per cent grade in university students from public and private secondary schools within and outside the country with a specific GPA of at least 3.75 upon graduation. Long-term visas include families of outstanding students.
