New Delhi: Two months have passed since the demise of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Remembering him, his family members, fans, his industry colleagues attended a Prayer Meet organized for him on Saturday. Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Keerthi, who lives in the US, posted a video on her Instagram account, in which her family is seen praying for Sushant at her house in Bihar.
In the caption of the video, Shweta wrote, “Please post a picture of your hands folding and be a part of the #globalprayersforssr today. #CBI4SSR #warriorsforssr #justiceforshunt#godisvidas.”
On Friday, Shweta had appealed to come with people at 10 am on August 15 and to offer collective prayers for the departed actor.
Remembering Sushant on Saturday, his fans joined the campaign in a big way, which led to trending hashtagglobalpairsforSSR on Twitter.
Actress Kriti Sanon also posted a picture of her folding her hands and wrote in the caption, “Because it is always good to ask for prayers. Sending my blessings and positivity. Let the truth prevail soon. Today, this Independence Day But by standing firm with some right thing and our beliefs, let us all free ourselves from negativity and hatred. “
Sushant’s ex-girlfriend Ankita Lokhande called him ‘Miracle Man’.
While praying for Sushant, Ankita wrote on Instagram, “A supernatural human being, a magnificent soul, an astonishing personality. You will be missed Sushant.”
Yoga guru Baba Ramdev also participated in the online campaign of #GlobalPrayersforSSR. A video of him has gone viral on the internet in which Baba Ramdev is seen performing a havan in memory of the late actor.
