New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty’s petition will be heard in Supreme Court in the Sushant Singh Rajput Suicide Case. Rhea Chakraborty’s petition will be decided by the investigating agency of the case. Rhea has demanded transfer of FIR registered in Patna to Mumbai. The central government has also demanded to make itself a party in this matter. Rhea has filed a fresh petition in the Supreme Court alleging that the Bihar government is showing interest in this case because of elections, while the case has nothing to do outside Mumbai. Here, Rhea ‘s manager Shruti Modi has arrived again in connection with the inquiry in the ED office.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) questioned actress Rhea Chakraborty and her family members on Monday for nearly nine hours in connection with the money laundering case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput. Rhea, her brother Shouvik and father Indrajit Chakraborty reached the Enforcement Directorate office located in Ballard Estate area around 11 am. He was sent a summons to appear on Monday. Rhea along with female personnel of Mumbai Police and her brother Showik were seen leaving the ED office shortly after 9 pm. During the day, the agency also questioned Rhea and Rajput’s manager Shruti Modi and the late actor’s friend and roommate Siddharth Pithani.

Pithani is said to have been living with Rajput for almost a year and had earlier recorded his statement with the Mumbai police under the police’s investigation of the case under Accidental Death Report (ADR). Rhea, her father and Shruti have also been questioned before, the agency has questioned Showik for nearly 30 hours so far. Showik had left the ED office here at around 6.30 am Sunday after an overnight interrogation. The questioning began with them around Saturday afternoon. Rhea (28), the main accused in the case, was questioned for about eight hours on Friday. The ED on Friday questioned Samuel Miranda, the chartered accountant (CA) of Rhea and Rajput and Samuel Miranda, the manager of the late Rajput’s house.

Rhea ‘s inquiry focused on income, investment, business

According to sources, the agency had questioned Rhea about friendship with the late actor, business deals and the events that have taken place between the two over the years. According to officials, ED’s inquiry focused on Rhea ‘s income, investment, business and professional deals. The ED is also eyeing the source of purchase and ownership of a property located in Khar area of ​​the city and another property located in Raigad district of the state, both of which are related to Rhea.

Rhea reveals her income of around Rs 18 lakh in ITR

Sources in the agency said that the ED wants answers from Rhea about the alleged non-matching between her income, expenditure and investment. They say that Rhea filed an income tax return stating that her income is around Rs 18 lakh, but the value of her investment is reportedly high. She told that his father is retired defence personnel and he gets around one lakh rupees every month as pension. According to sources, Rhea told the agency that she has invested in property with her income, savings and has also taken a loan from the bank. During interrogation, ED is believed to have put some bank statements in front of Rhea, Shouvik and Shruti Modi. They allegedly reveal that a small amount was sent from the accounts of Rajput and Rhea to Showik’s account.

Rhea has been accused by Rajput’s father of abetting her son to suicide. Initially, Rhea refused to appear before the ED citing pending appeal in the Supreme Court. Rajput’s 74-year-old father KK Singh filed a case in Patna on July 25 for cheating against Rhea, his father Indrajit, mother Sandhya Chakraborty, Showik, Rajput manager Samuel Miranda, Shruti Modi and unknown people and abetting her son to suicide. Was registered The CBI re-filed this FIR as a new case and made these people accused. Singh has also alleged financial irregularities in his son’s bank accounts. In his complaint, Singh has alleged that 15 crore rupees a year were sent from Rajput’s bank account to the accounts of people whom the late actors neither knew nor had any connection with.
