New Delhi: Rhea Chakraborty, in his written petition in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, told the Supreme Court on Thursday that the Patna Police should transfer the case to Mumbai Police on July 25, believing it to be a ‘Zero FIR’. Rhea also said that Rajput’s father has made baseless allegations against her. The top court has already reserved judgment on Rhea’s transfer petition (transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai).

In her written petition, Rhea said that the FIR has no connection with any crime in Patna. He said that the maximum that can be done in this case is that a zero FIR can be filed in Patna and then the matter can be sent to the police station having jurisdiction.

Rhea said that investigation in Bihar is completely illegal and such illegal proceedings cannot be transferred to CBI. Rhea has said that she has no objection if the case is transferred to the CBI and she will not object if the Supreme Court uses her power to hand over the case to the CBI.

The written petition said, the petitioner has no objection if the investigation is transferred to the CBI in the exercise of the powers conferred by this Court under Article 142 of the Constitution of India. Otherwise, the current transfer of Bihar Police to the CBI is complete without jurisdiction and is contrary to law.

He argued that the transfer of the investigation to the CBI at the behest of the Bihar Police is completely a matter of jurisdiction.
