New Delhi: On October 12, the Supreme Court will hear a petition seeking a CBI probe under the supervision of the court of Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian’s death. A bench headed by Chief Justice SA Bobde adjourned the case on Thursday as counsel for petitioner Vineet Dhanda failed to appear for a virtual hearing. At the same time, the Bench also suggested Dhanda’s counsel to consider taking his petition to the Bombay High Court.

In the PIL, along with the direction, Sushant’s death has also been demanded by the CBI under the supervision of the court as it has been claimed in the petition that ‘both deaths are interlinked’. Has also been asked to order a report of a detailed investigation into both deaths.

The petitioner further said that ‘the file of direction has been either lost or deleted.’ It states – “If the court finds it unsatisfactory, the case may be referred to CBI for further investigation.”

Disha Salian’s death
Disha died on June 8 from the 14th floor of Malad’s building. The Mumbai Police has termed the case a suicide case, while the evidence and witnesses revealed in the case so far have to say something else, including the Republic Media Network’s own investigation. BJP MLA Nitesh Rane has also claimed that ‘Disha has not committed suicide and his fiancé Rohan Rai is well aware.’ Rane demanded that ‘Rohan be brought back to Mumbai with full security and the CBI record his statement. A week after Disha’s death, Sushant was found dead at his Bandra home.
