The supreme court on Wednesday accepted the Bihar government’s decision to transfer the FIR lodged in Patna in the Sushant Singh Rajput case to the CBI.

He said that but if officials of other states want to stay here for more than seven days, then they have to apply for exemption from BMC.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra Transport Minister Anil Parab said that Mumbai Police will continue to investigate the Sushant Singh Rajput case.

Senior Shiv Sena leader Parab also claimed that the Supreme Court has not yet found any error in the investigation conducted by the Mumbai Police.

He said that the apex court has asked the CBI to investigate the FIR registered by Rajput’s father in Patna.

Parab said, “The Maharashtra government had said that the matter should be shifted to Mumbai as it is a matter of its jurisdiction.”

He said, ‘The state government will decide whether to file a reconsideration petition or not.’
