All the 8 accused, including Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan, have been sent to 14-day judicial custody in the Cruise Drugs Party case. He will be kept in the NCB office on Thursday night itself. He was not sent to Arthur Road Jail due to lack of investigation report of Covid-19. The matter was heard in the Metropolitan Court of Mumbai.

The NCB had sought the custody of all the accused till October 11, but the court did not allow. After the verdict, Aryan’s lawyer Satish Manshinde appealed to the court to hear the bail plea as well. This was opposed by ASG Anil Singh. The court also refused to hear the bail today. Now on Friday morning 11 petitions will be heard.

Satish Manshinde told the court that Aryan has not been interrogated for 2 nights. Still, NCB is seeking Aryan’s custody. Manshinde said that NCB is repeatedly saying that it wants to reach the main accused, but till then Aryan cannot be kept hostage.

Achit Kumar’s case was heard before the Aryan case. He was sent to NCB custody till 9 October. Achit was arrested on the basis of Aryan’s statement.

Being a high profile case, there was a huge crowd in the courtroom. Because of this, the defense lawyer requested the judge that those who are not related to the case should be sent out of the courtroom. The judge asked the people involved in the case to raise their hands and ordered the rest to go out.

Shahrukh’s manager Pooja reached the court 30-40 minutes before the court room opened. Arbaaz Merchant’s mother was also present in the courtroom. According to sources, Shahrukh is in the Trident Hotel and is taking information about his son’s hearing from moment to moment.
NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede reached the court premises. After this the debate started at 3.45 pm. NCB demanded extension of the custody of the accused till October 11. Aryan’s lawyer Manshinde asked for 2 minutes to meet him. The judge allowed it. Shahrukh’s manager Pooja was also with Manshinde.
The argument started in the case of Achit Kumar, who was arrested on the basis of Aryan’s statement. Public prosecutor Sethna, appearing for the NCB, said – Achit’s remand should be increased for an independent and fair investigation. Achit’s lawyer Ashwin Tul rubbished NCB’s claim and pointed out NCB’s flaws in front of Wankhede.
Ashwin Tul questioned that since 2 days he is in the custody of NCB. What inquiries and inquiries are they being made? NCB’s counsel replied whether it has become a trend to claim wrongful arrest? On this, lawyer Ashwin Tul took strong objection to Achit being said to be part of the drugs racket. The judge ruled out Achit Kumar’s arrest as illegal and sent him to the NCB’s custody till October 9.
Additional Advocate General (ASG) Anil Singh started the debate on behalf of NCB. He referred to old cases. After this, Aryan’s lawyer Satish Manshinde demanded that the NCB share the information from the arrest to the custody with the court.
Satish Manshinde argued that Aryan was invited by Prateek Gaba. He argued for the WhatsApp chat between Prateek and Aryan. Rave party is not mentioned in this chat. Please tell that Prateek is also a friend of Arbaaz Merchant.
Advocate Ali Kashif Deshmush argued on behalf of Munmun Dhamicha. He said that Munmun has no relation with any of the accused. She hails from Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. She was invited by someone, so she went on a cruise. Bail application has been filed in Munmun’s case.
Advocate Tarak Sayyed argued on behalf of Arbaaz Merchant. He said that when drugs were found from other people, what is the need of Arbaaz’s custody? The copy of the Panchnama of 6 grams of charas has not been given to them. The lawyer said that everyone should be called in front and asked whether they are related to each other or not?
Ashish Raghuvanshi, appearing for Vikrant Chhokar said that my client is in the custody of NCB for 144 hours. There is nothing against me in the remand report. No links have been revealed between all the 8 criminals so far.
ASG Anil Singh said- My friend Mr Manshinde argued like a story. He claimed that Aryan is innocent. I want to show him Aryan’s statement. The reason you show this is because you have fabricated a story. The ASG said that the NCB has arrested one more accused half an hour ago.

NCP leader Nawab Malik has questioned the action taken by the NCB in the Cruise Drugs Party case. During the operation, BJP worker Manish Bhanushali was seen capturing one of them in the video. Manish Bhanushali lives in Akhil Sudama of Dombivli MIDC residential area. Manish Bhanushali’s family contacted Manish Bhanushali’s brother Mahendra, Manish’s mother Bhagwati about the allegations made by Nawab Malik.

He told that we do not know anything, whatever came to light came to light after watching TV. Manish had said that I have done a good job. He said that he had spoken to Manish three days ago. His family appealed that Manish did not do anything wrong, what he did for the country, please do not do politics on it.

NCB has so far arrested 17 people in this case. Out of these, 8 people are in the custody of NCB till October 7 and other 8 accused till October 11.
