New Delhi: Given the Corona situation in Delhi, the lockdown has been extended once again. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has again extended the one-week lockdown in Delhi. He also said that there will be a strict lockdown this time. In a press conference, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that this time the metro service will also be closed.
During this, the Chief Minister of Delhi said that ‘The lockdown is being extended for one week in the state, the lockdown will remain in force till 5 am next Monday. The Metro will be closed from tomorrow in Delhi.’
On the condition of corona in Delhi, Kejriwal said that ‘Coronavirus cases have started coming down in Delhi since 26 April. Also, in the last 1-2 days, the positivity rate has come down from 35 per cent to 23 per cent.’
In Delhi, 17,364 new cases of corona have been reported in the last 24 hours. At the same time, 20,160 people have recovered from Corona. At the same time, 332 people died due to corona in Delhi.
Earlier, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had said that he was not getting the vaccine. Also said that ‘Today, we have a vaccine of 5-6 days left in Delhi. Which we are applying very fast. I hope that the vaccine will be provided to the people of Delhi in reasonable quantities at the earliest.’
Kejriwal had said, ‘There is a need for 30 million vaccines in Delhi right now. If we get the vaccine, we will vaccinate the entire Delhi in three months.’
