Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said on Friday that the state has become the first state in the country to administer 13 crore doses of the Kovid-19 vaccine. Yogi said in a tweet, ‘Today Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country to provide a protective cover of 13 crore doses of Kovid vaccine. This historic achievement is dedicated to the guidance of respected Prime Minister, commitment of Corona Warriors and disciplined public cooperation. When your turn comes, you must also get the vaccine for victory.

Meanwhile, Amit Mohan Prasad, Additional Chief Secretary, Health Department said that during the last 24 hours, 8 new cases of Kovid-19 infection were reported in the state. However, 12 patients recovered completely during this period. He said that at present 98 patients of Kovid-19 infection are being treated in the state. So far, 16 lakh 87 thousand 135 people have completely recovered from the infection in the state. Let us inform that in Uttar Pradesh, the corona virus has killed 22,900 patients so far. However, it is a matter of relief that for the last several weeks, the number of corona cases in the state has remained in units or tens.

Talking about vaccination at the national level, so far more than 105 crore doses of vaccine have been given in the country. The maximum 13 crore doses have been applied in UP, while Maharashtra is second with 9.76 crore doses, Bengal is third with 7.63 crore doses, Gujarat is fourth with 7.02 crore doses and Madhya Pradesh is at number five with 7 crore doses.
