UP government will give 25 per cent subsidy to medical equipment industries

Lucknow: Subsidy to Medical Equipment Industry. To meet the shortage of oxygen and other medical equipment in the state for better treatment of Covid (Covid-19), the state government has approved the ‘Covid Emergency Financing Scheme’. UP government will give a maximum subsidy of 10 crores up to 25 per cent for setting up a new unit of medical equipment required for treatment of Covid. The Yogi government has approved the scheme. The scheme will remain in effect for one year from the date of notification.

The government will create a revolving fund

There is a crisis in the entire state due to the Covid epidemic. Given the prevalence of the epidemic, this scheme is expected to provide major help in meeting the immediate needs. To take advantage of the scheme, the minimum investment limit for capital investment in plant, machinery, the equipment has been kept at Rs 20 lakh. The government will create a revolving fund to provide financial assistance to eligible units. Such units will be given all NOCs within 72 hours. The eligible unit will be given financial assistance of capital subsidy by the government for a maximum of Rs 10 crore or 25 per cent of the amount spent on setting up the plant, machinery, equipment.

Application in commercial bank is necessary

To avail of the scheme, the applicant unit has to apply to any scheduled commercial bank and SIDBI. A decision will be taken in a committee constituted at the government level under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary MSME and Export Promotion Department.

From Monday onwards, 18 people from all divisional headquarter districts will get the Corona vaccine

The Uttar Pradesh government has added five more districts to the Covid vaccination campaign. From Monday 17 May, people of 18-44 years of age will also get Covid vaccine in five other districts of UP. Till now vaccination program was going on in 18 districts. Now, this program will run in 23 districts. So far, a total of one crore, 1,14,67,023 people above 45 years and in the age group of 18-44 have received the first dose in UP. 31,16,480 people have taken the second dose. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that Covid vaccination should be started in all divisional headquarter districts from May 17. He said that local public representatives should be invited on the first day to encourage people. While deciding on the vaccine centre, keep in mind that there is an open space for the waiting room at the venue. Keeping in view the third wave, there are instructions to prepare a pediatric ICU with a capacity of at least 10-15 beds in all district hospitals and 25-30 beds in a medical college.

Post covid patients will get free treatment

CM Yogi has given a new gift to the people of UP. CM has said in his new announcement that, now Post Covid patients will be free treatment in UP. After this announcement, UP will be the first state in the country where the government is running this scheme. In a review meeting of corona infection on Saturday, CM Yogi Adityanath said that, even after the Covid is free of infection, there remains a need to provide treatment to many patients. The health department and medical education department should make free arrangements for the treatment of such patients. These hospitals should have proper arrangements for sanitation and sanitization. Also, food should be arranged for the patients.

Post corona patients need treatment

It is seen that even after recovering from corona infection, people are struggling with symptoms or side effects associated with it for several days or months. Because this virus affects the lungs the most. At the same time, it also affects the kidneys, liver, heart and arteries. Such patients are in dire need of treatment. On this, the Government of Uttar Pradesh has taken an important decision that now the treatment of post corona patients will be free in government hospitals.
