UP government will file an answer on the order of the High Court, there will be no lockdown

Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh, the cases of Coronavirus, which are continuously increasing, have increased the concern of the general public including the government. All the top officials including state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath are also in the grip of Corona. In such a situation, the Allahabad High Court has given strict instructions while hearing the petition filed on the corona. After which speculations are being made whether lockdown will be imposed in UP or not?

No lockdown but will increase vigorously

After the order of the High Court, the Uttar Pradesh Government is now preparing to file an answer. Even after the High Court order, the government is not in the mood to impose lockdown. It has been said on behalf of the UP government, the High Court has given its observation and has simultaneously directed the government, but the state government is filing an answer on its behalf. In which it has been said that lockdown will not be imposed but will be done more and more strictly.

What does the government have to say?

On the order of the High Court, Additional Chief Secretary of UP Government Information Navneet Sehgal has said, Corona cases have increased in the state and strictness is necessary for the control of Corona. The government has taken many steps, further strict steps are being taken. Along with saving lives, the livelihood of the poor also has to be saved. Therefore, there will not be a complete lock-down in cities, people are capturing many places on their own.

The high court has given these instructions

The Allahabad High Court has directed the Uttar Pradesh government to impose a lockdown in Prayagraj, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kanpur Nagar and Gorakhpur cities by April 26 for the growing Corona infection. The High Court has said in its order that all establishments, except the essential services including financial institutions, medical, health services, industrial, municipal and public transport will remain closed till April 26, 2021. No social ceremonies, including wedding ceremonies, will be allowed until April 26, 2021. However, in the case of pre-arranged marriages, permission can be taken from the DM of the district concerned.
