New Delhi: Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal rejected the decision of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government to allow normal functioning in hotels and weekly markets under Unlock 3. Official sources gave this information.
He told that as the situation of Covid-19 remains “fragile” and the threat is not yet overcome, the Deputy Governor has taken this decision in view of the same. The Arvind Kejriwal government decided on Thursday to reopen the hotels in the city.
Weekly markets were also allowed on a practical basis for seven days, following social distance and adopting all necessary measures to prevent Covid-19.
