Nagpur: In the midst of the crisis of the Covid-19 pandemic, an incident of bravery and kindness has come to the fore in which an 85-year-old RSS worker abandoned his bed to save the life of a patient younger than himself and lost the battle to Corona himself. According to a post in Marathi, Narayan Bhaurao Dabhadkar was recently infected with Corona after which his daughter got him a bed at Indira Gandhi Hospital. While the formalities were being completed, the 85-year-old man saw a woman near the age of 40 crying with her children begging hospital authorities to recruit her aggrieved husband.
After witnessing this heartbreaking incident, Dabhadkar immediately left his bed for the woman’s husband and said, “I am 85 years old now, I have lived my life.” You should give this man a bed, his children need him.”
The RSS worker was urged by his family and doctors to continue his treatment at the hospital, however, Narayan Bhaurao Dabhadkar remained adamant and abandoned his bed by signing a memorandum of understanding.
