New Delhi: Demand for plasma has also increased amidst increasing cases of Corona Virus infection. Plasma is proving to be the most helpful these days to save the lives of Corona positive people. Meanwhile, the government has also decided to reward people instead of donating plasma. Now you will not only save lives by donating plasma but will also take home prize money of Rs 5000.

Reward scheme started in this state Corona infection is increasing rapidly in Karnataka. Keeping this in mind, the government has announced to give Rs 5000 as appreciation money to each plasma donor. Medical Education Minister K.K. Sudhakar said that so far 17,390 people have become infection free in the state, out of which 4,992 are from Bengaluru. He appealed to the patients who have been infection free to donate their plasma. Sudhakar said please do not take it otherwise. We have decided to give an incentive amount of Rs 5,000 to the donor. He said that by voluntarily going ahead, donate plasma and help the patients recover.

Plasma bank also opened in Odisha The Odisha government has also opened a plasma bank. State Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the plasma bank at SCB Medical College, Cuttack.

Second plasma bank opened in Delhi The country’s first plasma bank was opened in Delhi’s Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), Delhi. After this, the Delhi government has also opened Plasma Bank in LNJP Hospital.
