CM Gehlot said in a tweet that on Monday, the Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah has assured to provide additional tankers for the supply of oxygen to the state over the phone.

Gehlot said in a statement, “Instructions that Covid-19, the oxygen concentrator, is proving very useful in meeting the oxygen requirement in hospitals for patients. These should be procured as early as possible and assisted by Indian embassies abroad. Should be taken. So that their transportation is not delayed due to shipping or other reasons.’

Emphasizing the need for the state to be self-sufficient in the availability of medical oxygen, the Home Minister called for the construction of new oxygen plants, procurement of concentrators and other equipment.
