People over 18 years of age will be able to get vaccinated against the Covid-19 epidemic from May 1 and for this, a day after the registration process started, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has advocated free vaccine.

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tweeted and targeted the central government, tweeting the meaning of the word free from the dictionary and said, ‘Free – adjective, adverb. Get something at no cost or no cost. Like- India should get free Covid vaccine. All citizens should get vaccinated for free. Hopefully, this will happen this time.’
3.79 new cases and 3645 deaths in 24 hours across the country
According to the Union Health Ministry, 3 lakh 79 thousand 257 people have been infected with Coronavirus in India in the last 24 hours, while 3645 people lost their lives during this period. After this, the total number of corona infects in India has gone to 1 crore 83 lakh 76 thousand 524, while 2 lakh 4 thousand 832 people have lost their lives.
Active cases in the country are close to 31 lakhs
According to statistics, 1 crore 50 lakh 86 thousand 878 people have been cured across the country so far of Covid-19. However, in the last few days, there has been a steady decline in the rate of recovery and it has been reduced to 82.1 per cent. With this, active cases are increasing continuously and 30 lakh 84 thousand 814 people are being treated across the country, which is 16.79 per cent of the total number of infected people.
Randeep Surjewala targeted PM Modi
Meanwhile, Congress’s chief spokesperson Randeep Surjewala targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi over the Central Vista project. He tweeted, ‘… because the building of the Parliament and the office of the Prime Minister are more important than the lives of the people. 20000 crore rupees will be spent from the government treasury, only then Modi Ji’s name will be written on the inauguration board. What about the country – it will be divided into Hindu-Muslim, Patel-non-Patel, Jat-non-Jat etc.
