Jaipur: Despite the lockdown implemented across the state due to the corona infection, the speed of corona is not taking a name in many cities of the state, due to which the government is now in a mood to be more strict in the lockdown. It is believed that in the districts where more cases of corona are coming up, more strict action will be taken in those districts.

There has been a churn in the government regarding this. If sources are to be believed, the government is going to reduce the scope of the exemption given in the lockdown. However, the districts where more cases of infection are coming up include Jaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Udaipur, Alwar, Bikaner and Ajmer.

Here, after the pace of Corona in the Jaipur district steadily increased, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot instructed Medical Minister Raghu Sharma and administrative officials to make special arrangements for the Jaipur district.

Preparation to stop the movement

To convince the sources, in the new guideline to be released on May 23, the government is ready to completely stop the movement. As was done in the previous lockdown. Experts have advised the government that as the movement of people continues, the cases of infection are constantly increasing. Apart from this, the time of markets, ration shops can also be reduced.

Earlier, the government had taken strict steps in the state since 19 April due to Corona. In this, a strict lockdown was implemented from 19 to 3 May for Public Discipline Fortnight, 3 to 17 May for Red Alert Public Discipline Fortnight and from 10 May to 24 May, but even after this, the pace of infection is not decreasing.

Micro Containment Zone will be formed

According to sources related to the government, the government is preparing to create micro containment zones in the districts which are more infected with Corona. Last year, the government created micro containment zones during the lockdown. If more than 4 patients are found, then the movement will be stopped by making that area a micro containment zone.

The number of micro containment zones will be increased. On the other hand, the government is also considering imposing curfew-like restrictions on them by increasing the scope of containment zones with an infection rate of more than 10 per cent. Apart from this, the lockdown period will also be extended in these areas.

More than 24% of active cases in Jaipur alone

At the same time, more than 24 per cent of the total cases of the state are in Jaipur alone. Out of 2 lakh active patients in the state, 49 thousand are in Jaipur. The government has expressed concern about the fact that out of 2 lakh cases, 1 lakh 85 thousand are getting treatment in homes. CM Ashok Gehlot had already instructed the officials in the Covid review meeting that a separate strategy should be chalked out to prevent infection in Jaipur.

After this, work has been started on a separate strategy for strict lockdown in 7 districts including Jaipur. However, on Saturday and Sunday, the number of active patients in the state has been reduced. Even after putting the lockdown, the way the number of positive cases was approaching 17 to 20 thousand, there has been some control over it, the decline in the number in two days is further indicating that if the government is more strict if it does, then these figures can be reduced.
