New Delhi: In view of the situation in Corona, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called a meeting of the Chief Ministers of seven states of the country. This meeting will take place in the current worrisome situation of Coronavirus infection. The meeting will be held on 23 September by videoconferencing. Chief Ministers of seven states including Delhi, UP, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra will attend this meeting.
Significantly, Coronavirus infection is increasing daily in India. COVID 19 cases are increasing every day. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health on Saturday morning, the number of corona infections in the country has gone up to 53,08,014. In the last 24 hours (from 8 am Friday to 8 am Saturday), 93,337 new cases of corona have been reported.
During this time 1247 corona infected has also died in the country. In the last 24 hours, 95,880 people have recovered. This is by far the largest number of people recovering in a day. 42,08,431 patients have been cured and so far 85,619 people have died. Talking about the recovery rate, it has reached 79.28 per cent after a slight increase. The positivity rate is 10.58 per cent. On September 18, 8,81,911 corona sample tests were performed. A total of 6,24,54,254 sample tests have been done so far. India has now reached first place in countries around the world in terms of recovery.
Corona patients are coming from almost all the states of the country. There are many states, which were freed from this epidemic, but due to the entry of migrants in the state, they again came in the grip of this infection. The state most affected by Corona is Maharashtra. So far in the month of September in the country, only 16,86,769 new infections have been reported while 21,150 people have died. The total number of active cases is 10,13,964.
