Varanasi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is regularly chairing review meetings with various stakeholders regarding the Corona and monitoring the country’s Covid-19 situation. The PMO has sent one of its best allies to look into the situation in Varanasi (PM Modi’s constituency).

PM Modi sent his envoy AK Sharma to monitor the corona situation in Varanasi.
It can also be called the Varanasi model of Covid management in which, under the directive of the PMO, the active efforts of the administration have seen a decline in the calls to positivity ratio, the ratio of dead and corona related problems in the district.

AK Sharma, a former IAS officer and secretary in PMO, was sent to Varanasi in April. Let me tell you that he took voluntary retirement and is now an MLC with BJP. AK Sharma took proactive steps such as setting up manufacturing plants in Varanasi on the instructions of the PM estimating the need for oxygen beds, concentrators, ventilators to reduce the risk of infection in Varanasi. Explain that Sharma has been working with PM Modi since the time he was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The result of these action steps is that the number of infections has increased from 2,700 cases to 700 cases daily.

Some active steps were taken by AK Sharma on the instructions of PM Modi
