New Delhi: The world’s number one male tennis star Novak Djokovic has received Coronavirus test positive. The Serbian tennis player recently took part in an exhibition competition held in Serbia and Croatia where several players were found infected with the coronavirus. After that Novak had his investigation done. After the final cancellation, he left from Croatia and was tested in Belgrade.

Victor Troicki, who previously took part in the exhibition competition, said on Tuesday that both he and his pregnant wife were infected with the coronavirus. Serbia players played against Djokovic in Belgrade in the first leg of the tricycle two-stage competition. Viktor Troicki has been in the top 20 in the world rankings.

Djokovic, the world’s number one tennis player, was the face of the Adria Tour. The Adria Tour was a series of exhibition matches that began in the Serbia capital and last weekend saw matches in Zadar, Croatia.

Not following the rules, many others were also infected
Grigor Dimitrov is a Bulgarian professional tennis player, who made the Grand Slam semi-final three times earlier on Sunday, said he was found positive for the coronavirus. Borna Coric, who played against Dimitrov, also said on Monday that he too was found positive. In both of these countries, social distance rules were not followed during matches.
