In the last 259 days in the country on Tuesday, the lowest number of 10,423 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported while the number of patients under treatment has come down to 1,53,776. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, after the new cases reported in the last 24 hours, the total number of people infected with the infection in the country has increased to 3,42,96,237. According to the data, the death toll has reached 4,58,880 due to the death of 443 more patients. The daily increase in new cases of corona virus infection is less than 20,000 for the last 25 days and the daily new cases are now staying below the figure of 50,000 for 128 consecutive days.The ministry said that the number of patients undergoing treatment is 0.45 percent of the total infection cases, which is the lowest since March 2020, while the recovery rate from Kovid-19 is 98.21 percent, which is the highest since March last year. In the last 24 hours, a total of 5,041 cases have come down from the cases under treatment for Kovid-19.According to the ministry, the daily infection rate was recorded at 1.03 percent. It is less than two per cent for the last 29 days. The weekly infection rate was also recorded at 1.16 per cent, down from two per cent for the last 39 days. The number of people recovering from the disease has increased to 3,68,83,581 while the death rate is 1.34 percent. A total of 106.85 crore vaccine doses have been given so far in the country under the Kovid-19 nationwide vaccination campaign.There have been a total of 4,58,880 deaths due to the Kovid epidemic in the country, including 1,40,226 from Maharashtra, 38,084 from Karnataka, 36,136 from Tamil Nadu, 32,049 from Kerala, 25,091 from Delhi, 22,900 from Uttar Pradesh while in West Bengal. 19,149 patients have died. The Health Ministry said that out of those who have died due to infection so far, more than 70 percent of the patients also had other diseases.

Moscow: Good news has emerged from Russia amid the threat of CoronaVirus. Russia is going to make the Coronavirus vaccine Sputnik-V available to the general public from this week. This vaccine was launched by President Vladimir Putin on 11 August.
According to Russian news agency TASS, Russian Academy of Science deputy director Denis Logunov reported that Sputnik-V vaccine would be released for wider use after permission from the Ministry of Health. The ministry is going to start the test of this vaccine in a few days and we will get its permission soon. It is worth noting that this vaccine has been prepared by the Gamalaya Research Institute of Moscow in collaboration with the Russian Ministry of Defense to make adenoviruses a base.
Must obtain permission Logunov said that there is a definite procedure to authorize a batch of vaccines for civilian use. It has to pass the quality check of the medical watchdog Roszdravnadzor. Between 10 and 13 September, we have to obtain permission to issue a batch of vaccines for civil use. After this, we will be in a position to release the vaccine to the general public. The vaccine has been successful in generating antibody responses in all participants in early-stage trials. Two trials for Sputnik-V were conducted in June-July this year and included 76 participants.
