New Delhi: Delhi police went beyond their call of duty and surprised an elderly couple with a small celebration on their marriage anniversary amid coronavirus lockdown. 85-year-old Nand Kishore Sethi completed 60 years of marriage with his 78-year-old wife Shakuntala on May 7.
But due to COVID-19 lockdown in the national capital, the couple couldn’t celebrate their special day. So, Delhi police decided to surprise the couple. They bought a cake and reached the couple’s residence in Harinagar with officials of the Federation of Janakpuri and Harinagar, New Delhi.
The couple cut the cake with the cops and officers and celebrated their wedding anniversary. Have a look at the pictures below:
