Delhi: No Need Of Home Isolators To Visit COVID Center

New Delhi: Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Thursday that people infected with Coronavirus will not have to go to COVID Care Center for clinical assessment in respect of being isolated at home or hospitalized. Sisodia said this after a meeting of the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA).

He said that it was decided to withdraw the order of the Center regarding the need for those infected with Coronavirus to go to the COVID Care Center. Sisodia said that those who will be confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus in the rapid investigation, medical officers will conduct a clinical assessment on the spot.

He said that the team sent by the District Monitoring Officer will assess the condition of those whose infection will be confirmed in the RT-PCR investigation. The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party said that keeping the patients of Kovid-19 in Delhi isolated at home has been very successful and under this system, around 30,000 patients of Kovid-19 have become infection-free.
