Delhi LG seeks action plan on shortage of hospital beds, medical oxygen

Amid an unprecedented increase in COVID-19 infections across the country, Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal presented the action plan related to the availability of hospital beds, medicines, medical oxygen to the concerned departments and agencies. Apart from this, information has also been sought regarding the capacity of crematoriums and cemeteries among the increasing number of corona infected.

The LG office said, “The Lt. Governor has sought further advice from the concerned departments and agencies regarding the availability of key medicines, beds, medical oxygen in crematoriums and cemeteries to address the ongoing problems.”

The LG office said, Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has asked the departments and agencies of the Delhi government to submit a quantitative action plan, which can be monitored while resolving problems due to shortages.

According to the information, let us tell you that ‘LG Baijal has also suggested that recently retired doctors and other paramedical staff should be employed wherever necessary.’
