New Delhi: In the midst of a furore over the supply of oxygen in the country’s capital Delhi, on Thursday, the High Court said, “If a patient is killed due to lack of oxygen, it will be considered a crime.”
Strictly follow orders
The Delhi High Court said that we direct the Central Government to strictly follow the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and our orders. The result of the non-implementation of orders will be that we will lose all lives and will be a ‘criminal offence’.
HC asked for a list of hospitals
Simultaneously, the court ordered that the centre provide additional protection for oxygen tankers, and create a separate corridor for the transport of oxygen. During the hearing, Adalat also asked the Delhi government for a list of hospitals in which there is a shortage of oxygen. But the Center said that instead of giving the list now, they can give the list even after some time.
