Noida: As the effect of Coronavirus continues to grow, in Noida and Greater Noida, the ban on spitting of gutkha or tobacco in public places is prohibited and for the first time Rs 500 and above for violating this rule. A provision of 1000 rupees has been made.
This decision has been taken in view of the havoc of the corona because the spitting of any person can spread corona. These orders have been issued by the Noida Authority and the Greater Noida Authority after the decision of the UP government, in which the UP government also imposed a similar ban on spitting.
Noida Authority CEO Ritu Maheshwari said, “For the purpose of curbing corona, instructions have been given that there is a ban on spitting, gutkha-spitting tobacco in public places. Failure of 500 rupees will be imposed for not complying with this order for the first time, and a fine of 1000 rupees will be imposed if not followed.
A similar directive was also issued by the Greater Noida Authority. Officials said that on Tuesday, the Health Department also cut the challans of three people and fined them 500 rupees. These people violated the rule near Noida Stadium Sector 21A, Kakrala and Nangla Village.
