While 27 crore health workers will be vaccinated in the second phase.
PM Modi had a high-level meeting
Let us tell you that Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday held a high-level meeting on the preparations for corona vaccination. After which the final date of vaccination has been announced. In this meeting, apart from the Cabinet Secretary, Principal Secretary to the Prime Minister and Health Secretary, other concerned officials were present. He informed that in view of festivals like Lohri, Makar Sankranti Pongal, Magh Bihu, it has been decided to start the vaccination campaign in the country from January 16. At the same time, registration of 79 lakh beneficiaries has been done through the Covid app, which has to be given the vaccine in the beginning.
37 stores opened across the country
The first phase of vaccination will be monitored digitally. For this, 4 vaccine stores have been built in Karnal, Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata. While 37 such stores have been opened in the entire country. These are all cold chains, where the vaccine temperature will be monitored through a central server. These stores will collect the vaccines according to the requirement and then distribute them to the surrounding villages and cities.
Self-registration has to be done first
The first 30 million friend line Corona Warriors will be vaccinated. These include doctors, nurses, police, security children, scavengers etc. But for vaccination, they have to get themselves registered first. Each department has scarcity data. In such a situation, when will the vaccine be given, the department will give information to it. In such a situation, when both doses are taken, the workers will also be given a digital certificate.
