Corona: Record Increase For The Second Consecutive Day, The Number Of Patients Reached Around 1.3 Lakhs In The Country

New Delhi: With the arrival of about six thousand new patients of Covid-19 in India on Saturday, the total number of infected people has reached close to 1.30 lakh. In the last month, more than one lakh people got infected and more than three thousand people died due to this. On Saturday, a record increase in new cases of infection with Coronavirus in the country for the second consecutive day. Since May 1, 94 thousand cases of corona have been reported in the country.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the total number of infected people in the country has increased to 1.25 lakh. However, according to the news agency language, the total number of infected in the country has increased to 1,28,840 and the total number of dead to 3,782. According to this, 54,000 people have become infection-free so far, while more than 71,000 people are undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, only 11 urban areas of seven states and union territories have 70 per cent patients of Kovid-19 exposed in the country. The Union Health Ministry said that these 11 urban areas are in Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, West Bengal and Rajasthan where 70 per cent of patients are being treated.

The first case of Covid-19 in Sikkim surfaced
The first case of Covid-19 has been reported in Sikkim. The 25-year-old student who returned from Delhi has been confirmed to be infected with the coronavirus. The first case of infection with Coronavirus in India came on 30 January but since then Sikkim was completely free from its infection.
 
India is currently the 11th most infected country in the world with the coronavirus, but the number of hospitalized patients here is more than some of the top ten infected countries including Spain, Italy, Germany, Turkey and Iran. India is fast moving to leave Iran behind in terms of the number of infected people where the total number of infected people is about 1.33 lakh.

Since the first case of coronavirus infection in China last year, more than 52 lakh people in the world have been infected with this virus, while 3.38 lakh have lost their lives. During this time 20 lakh people have also become infection-free. Not a single case of Kovid-19 was reported in China on Saturday. However, in recent weeks, new cases of infection have increased in many countries following the relaxation of the lockdown.

The nationwide lockdown is in force from 25 March in India and will continue till 31 May. However, the fourth phase of the lockdown, which began on 18 May, has been given several leeways. Apart from this, domestic airlines are also going to start in a phased manner on Monday.

2600 trains to run in the next 10 days
Railway Board Chairman VK Yadav said on Saturday that 36 lakh migrant workers stranded in different parts of the country have been transported to their home state by the special trains run since May 1. He said that 2,600 trains will be operated in the next 10 days to take 36 lakh more migrant workers to the destination.

Maharashtra most affected by Coronavirus
Maharashtra is the most affected state due to coronavirus. Apart from this, Gujarat, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan are included in those states where the maximum number of cases are coming. 2,608 new cases of infection with coronavirus were reported in Maharashtra on Saturday and 60 people died. With this, the total number of infected in the state has increased to 47,190 while 1,577 people have lost their lives. So far, at least 18 policemen, including an officer in Maharashtra, have lost their lives with the coronavirus.

759 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in Tamil Nadu on Saturday. At the same time, with the death of five more people including a 75-year-old woman, the number of people who lost their lives due to coronavirus infection has increased to 103. The new infected also include migrants from other countries and states.

The number of infected is increasing continuously in Kerala
In Kerala too, the number of infected is increasing continuously. There have been 62 new cases here, out of which 49 are those who have returned from abroad or other states. In Kerala, more than 91 thousand people were kept under observation. Let me tell you that the first case of infection with coronavirus in the country was reported in Kerala but till the return of migrants from other states and abroad, the administration was able to control the infection rate.

Experts warn that due to migrants and people coming from abroad, an infection can increase because not all of them will be kept in institutional isolation due to lack of symptoms. The highest number of cases of Covid-19 were reported in Karnataka in one day on Saturday. With the arrival of around 200 new cases here, the total number of infected has reached 1,959. The total number of infected persons has increased to 12,910 with 591 new cases in the national capital. The number of people who died due to Kovid-19 in Delhi has also increased to 231.
