New Delhi: To avoid the corona epidemic, people are changing their lifestyles and focusing on exercise and eating to keep themselves fit. In such a situation, the central government has also released a list of some food items to increase the natural immunity during the outbreak.

Center released diet plan for patients suffering from corona

For people suffering from Covid-19, the Center recommends eating dark chocolate, turmeric milk and protein-rich foods. The government, through the Twitter handle of mygovindia, has suggested a basic diet plan that will help improve immunity and conserve muscle strength and energy.

Explain that a person suffering from corona does not smell or taste anything. In addition, their appetite and ability to chew food are also lost. Since it can damage the muscles, the government recommends consuming soft things at regular intervals and including amchur (dry mango) in the diet. Covid patients should include this in their die

The guidelines state, “The main focus for corona patients is to eat foods that help rebuild muscle, immunity, and energy levels.” Whole grains such as ragi, oats are recommended. Good sources of protein such as chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, soy, grains and seeds are also recommended.” Apart from this, the Center has also asked to eat ‘healthy fat like walnuts, almonds, olive oil’.

In this diet plan it is also said – “To get enough vitamins and minerals, eat colourful fruits and vegetables five times. Eat a little dark chocolate with at least 70% cocoa to relieve anxiety. Drink turmeric milk once a day to increase immunity.”

Significantly, so far, India has registered 2,14,91,598 cases of corona out of which 1,76,12,351 people have been cured so far while 2,34,083 have died due to the virus. There are 36,45,164 active cases across the country.
