Ampoterphin injection will be treated
While giving this information on Wednesday, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope said that ‘500 patients of black fungus have been cured after treatment so far. Ampoterefin injection is needed for such patients. Therefore, the state government has ordered 1.90 lakh injections. But we have not received the supply yet.
Black fungus patients will be treated for free
Minister Rajesh Tope said that black fungus patients in Maharashtra will be given free treatment under Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana. This facility is available in about 1000 hospitals in the state. Under this scheme, up to 1.5 lakh treatment expenses will be borne by the government. Also, all medicines, injections for this disease will be given free of cost.
Corona recovery rate reached above 90 percent
With this, he told that the recovery rate of corona in Maharashtra has now reached above 90 per cent. The active cases which once used to be above 7 lakhs are now around 4 lakhs. But in Maharashtra, corona testing has not been reduced. At the same time, in the case of vaccination, till now, 2 crores 2 lakh 31 thousand vaccine doses have been given. Tope said that currently 3 lakh of Covishield and 2 lakh seconds of Covaxin are left. Therefore, the doses available from those who are left will be given to them.
