In this sequence, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Thursday announced by tweeting that the state government will treat all Covid patients in Patna IGIMS for free.
CM tweeted and wrote, ‘Indira Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences (IGIMS) will treat all Covid-19 patients in Patna for free. The state government will bear the expenses on medical services and medicines.’
At the same time, in another tweet, the CM wrote, ‘Instructed to make the ventilators available in the hospitals of all districts of Bihar functional soon. This work can be ensured through governmental efforts or joint participation of the private sector.’
Significantly, in the midst of the fast-growing Kovid cases in Bihar, CM Nitish is constantly engaged in improving health services. In this sequence, a few days ago, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced to give free Covid vaccine to all citizens above 18 years of age in Bihar.
