New Delhi: Corona is helping the poor through its central government schemes even in the midst of crisis. Through the Ayushman Bharat Yojana of Modi Government, 1 crore poor have been benefited so far. Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has given this information on social media. Let us tell you that under Ayushman Bharat Yojna, financial assistance is given to the poor of the country for better treatment. Under this scheme, the poor are guaranteed free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh.
PM Modi wrote in a tweet- ‘Every Indian will be proud to know that the number of beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat has crossed 1 crore. In less than two years, this initiative has had a positive impact on so many people. I congratulate all the beneficiaries and their families. I also pray for his good health.
He further wrote- ‘I appreciate our doctors, nurses, health workers and all those associated with Ayushman Bharat. Their efforts have made it the largest healthcare program in the world. This scheme has won the trust of many Indians, especially the poor and Dalits.
PM Modi further writes, ‘Ayushman is India’s biggest benefit portability. Beneficiaries can get good and affordable medical services not only in where they are registered but also in other parts of India. It helps those who work away from home.
PM Modi said that during his visits, he will talk to the people to get the benefit of this scheme. PM Modi wrote, ‘During my official visits, I will interact with the beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat. Sadly, it is not possible these days, but I had a wonderful telephone conversation with Pooja Thapa of Meghalaya, one of the 1 crore beneficiaries.
